My night off from cooking! Yippee! No don't be daft himself doesn't cook for me, we buy in a carry out!
If I relied on his cooking skills it would be eggs, beans & chips every night. Only thing he can just about manage.

Cubagirl- nothing wrong with eggs beans and chips! my DH cannot do anything but does offer to buy takeaways instead!
We are off to a pizzeria tonite as still away. I am going to go for a salad because I know the desserts there are amazing!! They bring them all to the table to tempt you with them! After the sixth you have gone from 'oh, I couldn't eat another thing' to 'oh! Go on then! rude not to!!!'

I was out for lunch with friend and had a flour tortilla wrap with ham, mushroom and mozarella cheese, salad and crisps on side then a piece of chocolate tiffin for afters - very naughty but highly enjoyable. Need to stick to diet now! Making pasta with prawns, mushrooms and sauce for dins.

Cornbeef crispbake (not any crispbake, a *&* crispbake) with homegrown peas and tomatoes.

Mrs P that sounds like a nice meal! I would be perfectly happy with quorn burgers and fresh fruit- sounds yummy.
I know what you mean sometimes there is no time. At times like that I sometimes do fresh pasta (takes 3 mins) and open a jar of M&S pasta sauce ( lovely ). We always have this in store along with parmesan cheese. A meal in less than 5 mins!
Back home tonight so I may very well be doing the above because I haven't much in and probably won't feel like bothering much after travelling.

On Thursday, it was aubergines, tin tomatoes, garlic, onion, basil and tomato puree, with penne pasta and a bit of grated cheese on top. Last night, it was spaghetti bol. I think those quorn burgers sound great, will try them. Tonight, we are going out for a friends birthday meal, so probably seafood!
