ooh la la!! very clever description Honeyb- fooled me!
Succumbing to MaccyD's tonight, Grandsons staying all day instead of just morning, so unprepared for dinner. Well, that's my excuse anyway!!
They did have apple & blackberry crumble after lunch though - handmade by me this morning, just out of the oven in time! They loved it.

You're all making me feel starving! Purplenanny you are so-o-o good if you never had any crumble! This is my weigh-in night and I don't eat dinner until I come back. Giving OH and son scampi bites and oven chips. Think I might have reached my goal tonight - whoopee! I can start eating a bit extra now if I have. (1 stone off in 3 months)

Honeybun you had me fooled too! Brilliant description of good old sausage roll and beans!
Still away & I am in search of a cream tea this afternoon. It has to be done!!!
A moment on the lips, a lifetime on the hips! Now I have just got to wake up my dozing DH!

Pork chops, home-grown new potatoes and courgettes and French beans, gravy and apple sauce.
Love the sausage roll, chips and beans description! Yum, yum!

flushtered - I did resist the crumble! it was hard but this weight has to come off! good luck tonight with your weigh in. Well done
Changed my menu from McDonalds to fishfingers & chips with baked beans & tomato ketchup - grandsons will be grandsons!! I hate the stuff myself!
I will have sardines & couscous later.
Craving wine, but musn't as I cannot just have one glass!

Thanks Dyan & Purplenanny, my weigh-in was a success - at my goal, yahoo. Looking forward to getting to add a bit more food to my diet to maintain my weight, was so hungry today! Honeyb, that sounds like good wine glass for a Friday night after a week at work!

Thanks, feel so chuffed.
Just read about Katie the cat though and wanted to cry. I have a 10 year od springer spaniel and can't imagine how I'd get through it when it's his time.
