Was windy and a lot cooler about an hour ago, now gone very humid again and still. Can hear thunder in the distance and black clouds coming over, think this is the calm before the storm, hopefully. Got some wonderful pictiures of the cloud formations, mixed with blue sky and then the line of datrk clouds.

Clouding over here too, but the air remains very still. Getting a through-draft indoors would be nice, but no such luck.

The way to make it rain here will be to hang out a freshly laundered sheet ! $:-\$ . Sky has been grumpy for days, air remains warm, wind is blustery. My holding barrels are empty

The heat finally broke here too. Last night we had a bit of a t-storm and heavy rain go through (pup slept through it) and so this morning the lawn and garden have been watered and we can finally open the windows. It's a lovely 19, no humidity degrees.
