I love 'em.  I drove by a property during the week, full of colourful begonias in many colours: it must have taken hours++ to water that lot unless they have an automatic drip system.  Petunias I like but they get sticky when dead heading  ::)

It's hot and muggy with the added problem of residual smoke from wildfires in the north part of the province. We have air quality alerts yesterday and today. There's a slight haze in the air and they're asking people not to do any vigorous outdoor activities. We should get some relief later due to some rain coming into the area later today.

Thankfully no, the fires are in the extreme northwest of the province, many miles away and well as out in the western Prairies. All the smog and smoke is being driven down to the southern part of the province and into Quebec.  You can still go out but they caution those will cardiovascular and breathing issues not to go out for any length of time for today.

I was in Spain a few years ago  and there huge fires in the area, we didnt get any daylight it was dark and gloomy all day, very strange. The air quality was terrible, it gave me a sore throat, luckily we were only there for a day.

Its still hot here, its forecast cool with rain on Saturday, roll on Saturday  ;D ;D ;D

Yep.  Weather to change by the weekend.  That was it then?

Thunder rolling round for a few hours and we drove home following the storm, drains simply can't cope!  Who ever had the idea of putting the drain level with the road ...... instead of slightly below to catch any water  :-\
