It's cloudy, cool, and raining right now.  We are due for some heavy rain and t-storms later this morning into the afternoon.

We've sat out side watching the birds, pottered around cutting back and tying in ..........
There was a sudden storm mid afternoon, then fine: followed by a black ☁️ but it didn't rain :-)

Overcast and cool, kind of depressing for July weather.  In for more rain later this afternoon. Hopefully, the sun will be out for the weekend. With all this rain, the weeds are proliferating! >:(

HOT! and expected to reach 30 by Sunday  :o.  It's F1 in Northamptonshire this weekend - there will be a lot of burnt shoulders, faces etc., I expect that medical personnel will be busy++ up there.  Add alcohol to the mix ?

I did some weeding earlier but was driven inside by the heat.  Now in the cool, getting round my lunch  8)

However, mainland Europe has been devastated by flooding ..........  :'(

There was a cold front that went through the part of the province yesterday afternoon, and it spawned an EF-2 grade tornado in a city called Barrie, about a 1.5-hour drive north of me. Dh and I used to live there 25 years ago and ds #1 was born there.  The tornado hit a neighbourhood not far from where we used to live. Lots of devastation, some injuries, but no lives lost, thankfully.  It didn't rain at all here, though the forecasters had been calling for severe storms for the afternoon...no rain came till bedtime.

This morning it's cooler and calmer, the last few days have been very hot and muggy.

I don't know, but it's not unusual to have tornados pop up every so often this time of year.  Once in a while, a really bad one will happen but thankfully not too often.

Watering the tubs and hangers is hard work in this weather.  So hot.
Gave up with the water buts and used the hose.

I gave up on hanging baskets years ago as it was tiring. 

Blue sky, white clouds, absolutely still - Summer has arrived but ALL at once  ::). It will end in storms and flooding. Of course  >:(
