Even though hot flushes are way in the past now, I find I am affected badly by hot weather now and get so very hot with sweat running down my temples and my back. I never used to sweat much so this is so strange to me. We have just come back from Spain where it was so very hot and I spent every day with my hair scraped back in a hairband as I couldn't bear it around my face. If you knew how much I hate how I look without a fringe you'd know how hard that was!
Although I loved the holiday and waking up to sunshine every day, I was actually looking forward to getting back to cooler weather here but when we stepped off the plane it felt just as hot as Spain!
How those Spanish ladies manage to look so cool and glamorous with their long dark hair framing their unsweaty faces is a mystery to me.
