Oh but really, how lucky are you?! I would love to live by the sea and smell the sea from my house. Oh what joy!!

Well all is not so bad, the trachelospermum climbing up the back of my house is in full flower and overpowering fragrant. It looks utterly fab but I'd still swop it for that sea view!! xx

More blustery breeze earlier which cooled the air from 6.30 ........ however, upstairs I could fry an egg on the bath ........

Rain is forecast for Thursday night ........

Water storing tubs are emptying fast here, back to the hose pipe.

WARM  ::) - has Summer arrived and Is This It! Longest day  :'( :'(

I would at the drop of a hat ladies! Loathe heat with a vengeance but whilst he hates this sort of heat, hubby likes the long daylight hours summer brings. By contrast he hates the winter!

Daisy, such extraordinary contrasts just don't seem possible do they? I'm deeply envious! Dreading the attempt at sleep tonight. x

I know ER! I'm in NI and although warm today quite cool now :)  I love winter ::)  can't wait for the dark nights :)  I've an aunt though that dreads it - I can see how limiting it can be for older folk to get out and about.

When does it get dark with you Elizabethrose.
Last night for us it was about 11:20 and then light again just after 4am.

We do get much shorter winter days though.

We had a great thunder storm earlier so the air is quite fresh now,

It was light at 3.50 one morning last week ........ we sat out until 11.30 last night as it cooled it was dark by 9.45.

In another hour it will be 'right'  ::)
