Started beautiful here, but clouds started building after 10am. Rain started at 5pm. In for a soggy night. Wind not bad, a bit breezy but so far OK. Sure I heard some thunder in the distance earlier, that distinctive rumble, but never came to anything.

Started of quite sunny. By 10am it started raining hard. Stopped briefly around five, only to start again with thunder. Now the wind has picked up speed.

Poured intermittnetly all day, saw some blue sky but not for long.  Good for the garden but not all at once  ::)

Had a long chat with Mum this evening and she is calmer.  Didn't consider taking her important papers or handbag upstairs, but had a bucket in which she planned to put food 'for a few days'  ::).  The dyke at the bottom of her garden is half full so some water is running off the land.  At least she didn't get water in the house.  She's 10 miles from March. 

Tonight the rain is hammering against the windows, DH chased a hog along the path just now hopefully there will be plenty of slugs!

Pouring - suddenly. Sky blackened, we had to open the lounge curtains and put on a light then the heavens opened.  I was stepping outside to search for a cat who hasn't eaten today ……… she has plenty of places to hide but that's the problem  :-\ ………. I am hoping that she ate over-night and will want her supper ……..

It's been lovely until now.  Warm.  Sunny.  Nice enough to sit ……..

This week we've had all types of sunshine, drizzle, heavy showers, thunder; mornings are chilly; forecast is rarely 'right'.  Heavy drizzle against the windows now, looks like indoor chores today  ::)

Have a cardi on and wearing  boots with Jeans.

How do you get on with your bamboo socks?

I've had my leeccy blanket on for 3 nights ………

Today has been sunny, ideal for gardening or sitting by the ponds.  Cardie to hand though  ::) …….. at 1 point it was drizzling but there wasn't a cloud in the sky  :-\
