Torrential rain here today with strong winds.
The good news is that the is from the wind is from the south, so a bit of much needed washing can go at the north end of the car port for a blow dry.
Better than yesterday when it was sleeting, snow at top of road  :(

Rain over night again.  Now the sky is blue and there's a great bright orb up there …… so bright I have a headache  :-\

My rotary washing line snapped in half  :'( so ended up using tumble dryer after all. Such a strong wind. Branches lying all over the place.

There is a bit of coastal flooding up here again. The tide at lunch time was very high and combined with a strong wind means road closures again.

There has been so much damage done to the road surfaces recently they are closing a fourteen mile stretch of road tomorrow for repairs. Unfortunately that means my journey to mum's means a 35 mile diversion. Have to go the wrong way for miles before doubling back on myself. This is the main route north in this part of the world. It's ridiculous. Needless to say I am not going tomorrow and will go on Monday instead.

Cubagirl - it happesn with long lines too  >:(  ::) .......... Mum had a line of nappies out and the line snapped, 'cos there wasn't a tumble drier in those days so they went out wet  ::)

Another bright sunny chilly day ......... here at least

Sunny here too - have just been for a three mile walk around the country lanes - managed to almost avoid looking at the catkins waving at me from the trees.....
