It did not get dark here until just after 5pm. Lovely to see the nights beginning to stretch out toward spring.

Rainy & cold. Fed up of this weather now.

South of England are building the Ark

Rain and sun here CLKD - haven't started the Ark yet  . Heavy showers today but yesterday we were in North Wales and the weather was really good. Bit of a trek there and back though - motorways were a little bit accident-prone.

North Wales is a Trek which ever way you approach the Country from  - even from NW 

Blowing a gale again, raining hard ……..

It's not just the distance (500  mile round trip) it's the cost of the fuel - I hadn't thought about that until I had to fill up the tank. Mind you petrol was so much cheaper there!

Did you get to see any scenery?

There was "scenery" throughout the whole journey    It was right at the tip of North Wales so no mountains as such - hilly bits and flat bits - and industrial bits and seaside bits.

I didn't bother to look at diesel costs as my car uses petrol. Will have a look next time!

   Snowdon has mountains if you went to the tip of N Wales unless the other direction i.e. Anglesey?

It was on the coast about an hour from Snowdonia CLKD so didn't actually get to see any mountains which suited me as I am not a fan of them really.
