Same here!  Blue sky.  Slightly hazy sunshine. Warm but not too warm for me - yet.

32 degrees in the classroom today. So hot. Please remember to put out a shallow bowl of water in your garden for any visiting wildlife, insects, birds etc. There are many hedgehogs being badly affected by dehydration.

2 hedgehogs were in our garden this evening, drinking from the low 'pot holder' which I keep topped up with water.  We put out cat food too but the neighbour's cat is out on the prowl, usually she's kept in at night  ::)  ...........

Humid.  Stuffy.  HOT, hot, hot .........

Phew no sign of a let up 8) 8)

Waiting in for postman so he doesn't leave another red card, hope he has not succumbed to heat, he's usually here by now.

It hit 31C  in our local town and driving home.

We were were going out for "Afternoon Tea" but decided it was too hot, so went to Garden Centre (too hot) then onto TESCO where the Air Con   

was up high (bliss) and bought all the ingredients for Cream Tea, Cornish Clotted Cream and Strawberry Conserve, to hot to eat outside though.

OH had just popped scones in the oven.

Salmon and cucumber sandwiches to star, with Elderflower Juice to drink.

Earl Grey tea with Scones.

We're invited for "Afternoon Tea" tomorrow at son & girlfriend's place. Very nice. I've baked a cake, except keep doing quality assurance testing on it.   ::)

So hope it's nice tomorrow.
