Thermometer in garden now reads 25 :)
Great news Pennyfarthing!
Another hot hot day - around 27 but hotter in the sun, barely a cloud in the sky - and looks set to continue.
I AM NOT COMPLAINING!!!!!!!!! I love it!! Maybe a few showers at night would help the garden and the farmers though....
We haven't had weather like this for several years and it's like when my children were young!

Am totally envious that some of you ladies adore the hot weather.  Pre menopause I was OK with it but the boiling heat we have had is not bearable for me now, I feel drained with it.  I like to keep busy and I like to walk but in this heat I am sweating more than ever, feels very uncomfortable and the nights are too hot.

I know I must sound like a misery but I am heat intolerant now and wish the temperatures would come down, being in the car is very uncomfortable.

Working outside has to be before 9 am as it too hot otherwise - struggling at the moment with 38° yesterday ........melting and not slept last night as it was too warm.  Even the late afternoon dip in the pool is a struggle but the water is like getting into warm bath - 10 mins and I've had enough!

Very hot here again and all set for next week too.

For the last few nights it has started to cool when the sun goes down between ten and eleven, so sleep is much easier, I usually put the fan on in the bedroom early evening making sure the curtains, windows and door are shut, it keeps the room cool for bedtime. I open windows wide when I go to bed. Keeping the curtains shut during the day helps too.

Its the weekend again so the Barbies will start, I hate that as the smoke gets on my chest, it really does spoil it for the people who are allergic to the fumes. Good job I don't live in Australia, though the rest of the life is great :)

It must be difficult if you have always enjoyed it before. I've always felt wrong in the heat somehow. The festival I went to yesterday was lovely but so hot. Mind you last year everything subsided under torrents of rain and mudslides!!

Does Husband need to eat more during hot weather?  I find that my energy levels get used up fast and I feel very sick quite quickly  >:(

Hot here.  Blue sky.  No air.  Humid last evening, we sat out until 10.00 p.m. .........  :-*

I've always struggled with heat and 25 is my limit, beyond which I'm headachey, dizzy and feel ill.

I've spent the last week housebound and confined to 2 rooms which have thermal film on the windows, heat-reflective blinds, heat-blocking curtains, ceiling fans and air-con.  It's still 29 deg indoors and barely cools down at night.  We've had power cuts due to fuses melting/arcing (apparently).

Out of curiosity, I popped a thermometer in the garden an hour ago and it's 48 deg.  I can't stand it.

Hot and Humid here today.
Did my normal walk this morning, it was suuuuuch hard work.
And that was only 20C   :o

Update
Just realised that the 20C was in the shade of the carport, must have been much warmer outside with no wind
Did I mention it was hot?
