thanks Sorbet - I am such a scardy cat - I was admitted to A and E last year with spasm pains in my bowel - was agony and they never found out what it was just gave me buscopan!  It feels like my bits are so heavy and slicing pains all over then this piggin spasm thing, last month it was dry so the doctor gave me some pessaries but I darent take them as they are HRT things - just a bundle of nerves at the moment and stressed out at work - all getting a bit much I think - then again I am lucky to have a job with such liovely people and in a lovely place - I am coming back as a seagull next time
 :-\ :-\
Thank you xx

Oh Suzi...sounds as though you are having a reaction from the Sylk . Hope things settle for you again soon and the sylk goes and your body can recover quickly. I am having breakthrough bleeding since starting the Vagifem, like dark brown old blood. don't know if I should continue or not. It's all trial and error and sometimes it's hard to know what to do for the best. Feel well soon , hope that burning settles . xxxx

While you are using Vagfiem mild sides include mild break through bleeding may occur

Mine were achy boobs and the runs still get them and period pains even though Ive not had one since Aug 1994 xxxx

Put the extra one in last night I norm do Sun and Thur but I was red hot on fire last night so in it went
With in 2 hours or so it eased a lot didnt go but eased
This am so far at 11am Ive been to the loo and its a bit teeeny bit not as normal but OK just see how the day goes?
BUT I wont be using Sylk again Id rather have ouch on entry and a bit tender than put up with thia
Oddly enough we used a condom a couple of weeks ago and nothing wonder whats on the outside of that? xxxxx

Its now 5pm nearly and the day beside the trots which Im  is either IBS as the GOP said or Vagifem
But fanny has been almost normal all day when I woke bit stingy but by 11am it was gone

Suze, it's great that just that extra Vagifem seems to work so quickly for you and your vagina is trying to get it's normal balance back. I am not bothered about old blood but will mention to GP. The replens makes me sore so I daren't use anything. Take care xxxxx

I can say its almost better in went the vagifem like butter not sore at all inside
But outsides still hard to describle it tingly no sensative maybe? A sort of feeling is how I can put it
Bit dry though Im soaking  Vagifem Sunday Tuesday and last night
Im just aware enterence isnt sore or stingy again it feels like it could be anymoment now if you get my drift?
Dont want to wee yet do want to we water clear as a bell siting down the enterence is just :there: I can feel it
I can feel it typing not a pain not exactly soreness its just like youve had sex thats what it feels like yes!
Want to wee wee a bit more but not loads just not as good as this time last week or the weeks before

Hi ladies

Well it's been a few months but it seems like topical oestrogen is off the menu due to irritation.

I'm trying to find out a bit more about non-hormone moisturisers.  I tried sylk and replens but they make me or my DH itch/sore, I'm really sensitive to skin products.

Just trying to find something that might help with vulval dryness and itch.  Has anyone treid Yes or Multigyn?  Failing that it's back to the kitchen cupboard (  olive oil 'Extra Virgin' of course  ;)  ).

Be great to hear if anyone has had any successes with non hormone products.  Thanks!

I use Yes and can sing their praises!
I use quite alot of it and you do get some occasional residue/sticky substance deposits but worth it! I also tend to use a little Pure castor oil as well so that I do not get sore at all.  I use Ovestin but still have to look to using Yes in addition otherwise I am still quite dry :-\

Recently I saw some lubricant called PJUR it is made in Germany and there is one I used for extra sensitive skin and so far I have not got ANY burning with this product - fingers crossed it remains that way.

I hope you find something that works for you  ;)

Hi
Many thanks, coconut oil, interesting.  I use virgin organic coconut oil from Handmade naturals as a body moisturiser, so might pop a bit on to try. I am just trying to get the Bounty advert out of my mind as I type :-)

'Yes' sounds promising too.
Thank you ladies! Mrs P you always have something nice and helpful to say thank you x

I just wondered, is anyone else having to address this prob without using oestrogen?  I posted about 6 months ago about my trials and tribs with vagifem and ovestin  :angryfire:.  Now have had a very helpful consultation with a gynaecologist and am having a rethink - should I start a new thread?

Maybe my Vagifem works then I get days maybe 2 or 3 where it doesnt its never like it used to be
Its mostly only sore at the enterance and the wanting to wee wee
Yesterday brilliant only went 4 times from sun up to bedtime
Today been loads and feel like I need too and am soreish
The times IM 100% are about the same as im ok
At least going to the GP after Bobbles and the bleed and all the exams I know its not cancer
But OH GOD I WISH IT WAS EVEN 50% like it used to be
I want to make love this week after not doing it for 2 weeks due to the Fkin Sylk
IM scared though I was fine for 3 weeks everyday before the Sylk since then 2 days ok 1 not 3 days ok 2 not?
