You asked about houses for sale CLKD. There is a very high percentage (compared to other areas in the UK) of second homes owned there and there is concern that the natural population will wane. The same study showed that around 75% of the second homes are owned by Scots.
I did not know that the ferry with car is expensive now. Cannot remember the last costs.
I really like the West Coast of Scotland and although I have not visited many, I do like the west coast islands I have visited.
Perhaps time for another visit - perhaps this summer when my brother and his family are over from Chicago - after they have walked the West Highland Way (I will watch from afar hehe).
