Just back from walking dogs and checking my pregnant ladies.

Not so cold but ground still really hard.

Please don't say its going to last for weeks, I'm on holiday end of week.  I want to get the garden sorted before back to work or it'll be under 2ft weeds again this year!! ::)

Oh said it was tee shirt weather this time last year. ;D ;D

Sky is brightening from the West.  A lot of snow blowing off fences, gates, roofs ......... can see further this morning.

They were advising people to keep away from work for a week because of the roads. My son made it up from England to Northern Scotland yesterday. OK he was driving on motorways most of the way but surely folk won't need to stay away from work for a whole week.  If doctors, nurses etc stayed away from work because of the weather, where would we be?

It's snowing from a grey sky here. Not much though. I didn't make the suffolk trip today either due to it still snowing there. Missed out on a good wedding judging by the photos!!

My son has just landed from Florida - from 80 degrees to minus 2 in a night. Hope his housemate remembered to turn the heating on.

He's home again then!  Double thermal layers for a few days whilst he acclimatises?

I don't think he possesses one thermal layer let alone a double one! I'm not even sure he has a coat of any description - just the normal suit jacket. Makes me feel really old because I can remember my mum watching me teeter out of the house on a freezing December morning with a skirt just covering my necessaries and a jumper showing off my midriff. Coat? Why would I need a coat?

Internal heating by alcohol then.  I was too sensible for my own good, always wore a coat. Little miss goody two shoes!  ;D ;D
Saw pictures of snow in parts of England. Wow haven't seen that amount in a very long time, especially near the end of March.
Stay safe ladies and cosy.

Flipping freezing here - outside and in.
I cannot get a heat.
Went out at lunch-time and almost ended up like someone frozen in motion and time.

Going to Corfu at end of April and it cannot come fast enough!!

Sunny today, very cold but the snow has gone by us.
About 4 miles away, a rural B road is clear, but has 4' - 5' scalloped drifts either side, looked amazing.
However, the little lanes that we normally use are impassible.
Well they are in a Renault Clio sport.

We have just a few little flakes here in SW England - but still very very cold and grey.

Going to Corfu at end of April and it cannot come fast enough!!

Oooh lovely Firewalker - we went there last spring! Have you been before?

Been watching the weather on ITV - reminds me of when I was a kid, we had drifts like that most Winters  ::) - I remember walking underneath one after the tractor - no snow ploughs then - had been through, the sun made the ice shine blue above us.
