I hope I dont end up with long covid as my ms fatigue is bad enough as it is.

have you taken pain relief or similar, which may well account for 'the runs'.

Hi Smokey
Sorry to hear you have fatigue from covid, mine took at least a month to go.
Do you take any supplements to manage your ms fatigue?
I thought you might be interested in this study just in case you're not taking anything at present.

Hi all,
Well I’m back at work today after 2 weeks off, really don’t feel 100%, but I’m going and I’m going to speak to my boss, just so that she gets what’s going on with me. I have a telephone appointments with the GP on Friday as I still have the headache when I cough and lean forward. They won’t look at long covid until 12 weeks, I’ll be at 10 weeks when I speak to them.

Thanks Marchlove for the link it’s very interesting and hopeful for the future.
I have just added a multivitamin to my daily intake of various pills, the latter as it contains iron and hoping it may give me a boost.

Spangles I hope you start feeling better soon, you definitely don’t want long covid.
Today is the first day I’ve started being able to do more, I actually managed to walk the dog today although it was only 20 minutes. Started doing stuff around the house again emptying the dishwasher etc, but am careful not to over do it.

That’s good to hear Smokey.
I expect you’re very used to pacing yourself so it sounds like it’s more of the same for awhile.
Do you know if you’re low in iron Smokey?

Just an update,
GP says it’s long covid, currently going through all the tests.
Still managing to work part time, but it’s hard.
I won’t give in to this thing!

Take care of yourself! Rushing won't do you any favours in the long term. Remember the effects of viruses in the 1970s, which medics said was 'yuppy flu' because so many were affected and were unable to work etc.. Turned out to be a result of the Virus.
Listen to your body. If it's fighting a germ then it needs to rest, be well hydrated and eat little and often to encourage energy to remain stable.

I’m not sure if I’m low in iron but have had recent blood tests but won’t know until 21st when doc phones to discuss.
I have had to stop the multiple vets as they gave me bad indigestion.

Hi Smokey
It’s not a good idea to take iron unless you have a deficiency confirmed by a blood test.
Not sure if this was what caused your reflux on the multivitamin, it may be something else in it.
You could just try a B complex instead , Seeking Health is a good brand.
Do hope you’re improving still x
