Have a horrible head cold. I'd forgotten how yukky you can feel. Took 2 covid tests - both negative so assume it's a rotten cold. Sneezing is sending the cockapoo on constant zoomies. He does cheer me up.
Had a weekly catchup coffee with my sister in law today. Her sister had been given awful news yesterday re incurable cancer with short life expectancy. Made my cold pale into insignificance I have to say  :-\
Brings "live life to the full" into sharp focus, dear ladies..

I'll tell you what ladies, I love this forum. I don't do Facebook, twitter or any of that (bit old fashioned that way) but I value the advice and camaraderie of the fab ladies on this forum - means a lot 😉 x

Cold fine now thanks CLKD but my hubby now has man flu - imagine that  ;D

A little shaky.  Very tired after busy dreams.  Cuppa to hand.

How's the DH Songbird?  As well as your Mum?

Well, CLKD, DH a bit stuffed up - moaning every now and again but otherwise not bad. He still managed a roll with sausages and a bit of chocolate cake that would choke a horse  ;D

Mum’s definitely brighter thanks so think the Antibiotics are starting to kick in. She’s still a bit miffed about the insinuation from the gyn ward but she’s fine really.  As she says, “why do they not just admit the mistake? I wouldn’t have bothered at all”.
Oh if it was just as simple as that  :o
