Most were holiday homes and a bit sterile, not welcoming especially the house in southern Spain with the white plastic structure and the steps, the house in Norway had a lovely view of the sea but I didn't like the way you had to go outside to get to the bedrooms  :o

I hope they make another series, I've really enjoyed it.

Does anyone think that the bloke prior to the Anglia weather report a bit creepy, not the one who reads the forecast but the 'trader' who opens the door, gives a grin: we get the forecast: then disappears with another grin   -    without doing anything  ;D

My OH says exactly that !

"PHEW"! glad I'm not the only one who mutters 'here comes that creepy guy again'  ;D

I wasn't expect homes under ground to be so open to the elements - they have a different meaning of under ground that what I do.  The property in Holland was lovely.  My type although I couldn't live in a country that was totally flat  ::).  My fav. so far is the one in NZ where they moved 4 trees to build and it has doors that slide open to the woodland.

New series starting tomorrow afternoon at 3.00, it's James Martin cooking and driving around France in Keith Floyd's old 2CV car, what more could you ask for on a January afternoon

I am watching a programme about the international flower trade, mostly grown in Kenya.  300M  :o lilies are sold through this market annually - pity we don't have smelly vision  ;D

Planes fly out from Kenya every night to Holland's auction markets, packed with already sorted and checked stems of flowers.  How we can buy flowers so cheaply in the UK I fail to understand now that I have watched this programme.

1 dealer has bought 52,000 stems ready to sell on-line.  He does this at auction every day !  Now they are onto tulips - I remember fields++ across Lincolnshire of colour, of course the flowers were picked as it was the bulbs that were required.

I like The Affair on Sky Atlantic, also enjoyed Tina & Bobby, the Bobby Moore story - Michelle Keagan was very good in it.

I can't drive ... I tried to learn in the 2cv but the weird gearbox thing was beyond me - when I strayed work I bought us a Citroen ax but by then I had given up on ever passing test and after 30 lessons in it couldn't manage a three point turn. As it happened I developed migraine with aura and would lose sight without warning so just as well I never passed it.
