I link I sent you is for a box with Freesat. You can get a box with Freeview (that's what we have). The link below is an example

You will only need a dish if you want the freesat bit of the box. It should still record programmes off your terrestrial signal.

I seem to remember we had similar wallpaper at home in the 70's, quite lurid wasn't it?  At least now she has a tin-opener she can use  ;)
