Channel 4.  Richard III  ;) - John Snow is making the same story go round and round and round whilst waiting for the Service to begin  ::)

I am finding this quite exciting and moving …….. wonder if Richard is watching 'from above'? (1485) and what he would make of being re-buried in a CofE Cathedral  :o  ::) …….. it does show that the Church can be unified though.  The colours are fabulous!

Duchess of Wessex has arrived - wonder how many times she went to the loo this morning  :-\ - do the Royals get nervous ….. enough to make Life difficult  :-\ apparently Alfred the Great, the other Monarch to die on the Battle field was Duke of Wessex hence the connection.  I am learning SO much this morning ……. Duke of GLoucester and his Wife are also there …..

11.25 a.m.

Gosh we 'do' Ceremony well!  I am not religious but I am moved ……… he's in the ground now in a specially dug and prepared grave, looks like slate which has been engraved with his dates.  There will remain the argument that Richard should have been buried in York but he was deal the mortal blow in Leicestershire.

If you don't have Sky or BT vision CKLD you could buy a Humax box and record everything.

Thanks but can't be bothered  ;) - too little time, particularly with Summer around the corner and gardening to enjoy.

It's like a modern day version of the video recorder without tapes or DVDs. It records on to a hard drive. They are really good.

No it doesn't need a dish, it's just the modern day version of the video recorder but without the cassettes. You record programmes or films watch them and just delete them after.
Not sure if you mean how big is it in size Kerrieann or how much will it hold, but it's about as big as a DVD player in size (maybe slighter bigger) and it holds quite a lot. We have about 4 films on it and about 20 programmes.  We have never run short of space.   Well worth the money. We bought it from JL but they sell them everywhere.

This one gets good reviews

Thanks littleminnie, that looks good. I have no idea re the mains ring and reading the link it says I do need a dish?

To receive freesat you'll need:

A freesat digital receiver box or a TV with an integrated receiver
A satellite dish installed and connected to the receiver
Do you already have a satellite dish?

Yes – It may be possible for you to receive freesat with your current dish.

No – We recommend that your dish is supplied and installed by a qualified satellite installer. This can be arranged when you purchase your freesat receiver in store

I really fail in the 'technical' department, so I am probably reading it wrong :-\  PN x x
