I hope after all this that you start to feel better , it’s been a long few months for me and you , but your suffering more & more & I thought you would have seen some improvement by now with having AD
makes me think is it the tablets
Would you have been better off without them maybe ( just a thought )
In the long run I do hope they help you and all side effects go away & you start to feel yourself again.

This journey is a nightmare and I’m only at the beginning….. lord help me !!

I think once all this aniexty panic jitteryness goes dissapears
I can handle all the rest .. at least I think I could, if I can handle all this crap I have since May then I’m sure I can handle it

11 weeks off patches tomorrow .. let’s hope I get spark back soon
I do feel better as I’ve said before and I’m better than I was over a month ago .. just each day I wake up and think pleaseeeeeee let today be a good day.
Everything I took for granted is now a struggle it’s unreal ..

Suzy I hope your day gets better for you

Really bad. I’m feeling awful. I’ve got withdrawal from the citalopram as well as getting used to the venlafaxine. Been on the sofa all day. This is a never ending nightmare for me.

How are you feeling?

Hi Michelle,

Yes, I’m having a better morning. Managed to get out with the dog. The side effects of the meds aren’t so intense today.

How are you feeling today? X

That’s good Suzy , hopefully your on the road to normal now :)
I’m ok same as normal .. did CBT this morning and a relaxation based around hormones .. let’s see if it works
Was very relaxing to say the least

I’ve done my usual everyday things indoors and I will more than likely go shop after lunch just for the sake of going ( don’t need anything )

Hope you have a good day Suzy … onwards and upwards for us I hope :)

Well it’s been better again today. Still getting used to the meds, but much less anxiety.

I spoke with the menopause specialist. He just confirmed what we already know… body has gone into shock from giving then taking away hormones. He said it’s not particularly common, but he has seen it happen plenty of times.
He suggested I give the venlafaxine a good couple of months to work, and if I still feel bad he would start me on a very low dose of natural estrogen with bio identical progesterone only for a few days of the month and see how I go.. he also is writing to my gp and requesting a scan for me as I had the bleed.
It’s good to know he will be there if I need him.

How has your day been Michelle? X

Hi Suzy , I’m glad you have felt less anxious hopefully this is the way to go :)
So we know for a certain that the withdrawal is the cause of our symptoms , funni enough my pharmist phoned me today to see how I was & I said I wasnt 100% but its much better than what it was & she said that its a good sign as body is getting used to having nothing added …
I woke up panicky and anxious as had hospital but it passed but this afternoon I keep going hot and have a fuzzy head and feel jittery and anxious ( not bad but I’m aware ) actually feel like I’m gonna have another period but .. I’ve only finished yesterday so could be again hormones ( effing things )

Do you feel better since talking to the specialist?

Hi
Feeling better today. Minimal anxiety… more energy. Hopefully I’m getting used to the venlafaxine and settling down. Even had a lie in until 9.30!

Hope everyone is well xx

Brilliant suzy , good to hear :)
I’ve had the worst headache past 2 days , dunno if it’s my hormones fluctuating but be glad when it goes.
Aniexty is not so intense but it’s in background same a jittery ness and nervousness but again I know this is hormones and being in peri I know they fluctuating ( going on the pill sounds like a good thing to level this out I hope ) still not decided yet.
On a whole apart from headache from hell all is good. :)

I still get headaches that last 3 days, even post menopause. They are horrible. I hope yours goes.

Had a good day anxiety wise.
