The end is nigh  :'( - I worry more about the ride into Paris followed by the racing than any other day!  What happens if the yellow jersey were to crash  :o :o . They have to complete the 3 weeks ......... I hold my breath every year  :D.  It is at least dry in Paris now.

"We can confirm that earlier today our rider Nathan van Hooydonck became unwell while driving his car, leading to his involvement in a traffic accident," the team wrote in a statement posted to Twitter.

"He was subsequently transported to the hospital, where he is receiving good medical care. We cannot confirm rumours that his condition is critical. He is undergoing further medical examinations. Thank you all for your messages to Nathan and the team."

Take the survey
« Reply #179 on: September 15, 2023, 11:59:19 AM »

4 any1 who attended the roadside crowds there's an opportunity to fill in a survey:

WE NEED YOU! TAKE OUR SPECTATOR SURVEY [Tour of Britain web-site]

We’re calling on anybody who attended at least one stage of the 2023 race at the roadside to complete our short spectator survey.

Fans who take this survey will help protect the future of the Tour of Britain, as well as other major cycling events in the UK, by showcasing the positive impact that cycling has on host towns and cities, as well as the value of sponsoring cycling events.

To TAKE THE SURVEY 1 needs to access the website.
