Days out
« on: January 21, 2020, 09:42:06 AM »

I thought we had a thread already  ::)

B4 C.mas I went to Whipsnade and Twycross Zoos
Since: every month we have a day out to Brill and surrounding antique centres - that's a whole day with light lunch included
We are an hour from the Cotswolds in 1 direction and 45 mins. from Warwick/Coventry/Stratford/Leamington Spa in another.
3 hours from the coast so too far for a day out  :'(
5 hours from Wales  :'(  :'(

Sunday we went to Broadway Tower which over-looks the town and valley as far as the eye can see when it isn't misty.  Cafe but 2 toilets [lip service] for over 50 people  >:(

Home at night: own bath and bed  ;)

We love our holidays but also a weekend away  :)

We enjoy an antiques fair, gardening show or just a change of scenery, the Cotswolds is one of our favourites.  We are only 10 minutes to a beach, have beautiful castles near, Carreg Cennen is my favourite so a city break is just as enjoyable, especially if the shopping is good  ;D
