So, in the spirit of this being my first meal of the day, I have just eaten a piece of cold mackerel fillet, some cold leftover broccoli and a handful of macadamia nuts  ;D.

Perhaps that's why you felt 'off' first thing, not eating early enough?

When I suffer with bowels it's first thing before I even had a chance to get a cuppa when alarm has gone off at 6.15am.

Wow, unusual but good. All except the macadamia nuts.  I can't eat them, they make me sick.

It varies along the same theme but the macadamia nuts are nearly always there. I have to ration them 'though or I will eat the whole packet! I should post my OH's 'breakfast' too - today he had two cold sausages and a huge hunk of blue cheese  ;D.
