Hello! How are we today, tribe?

Yesterday was a bit ropey after lunch for me - I'm feeling the effects of dropping my Cetirizine dose (yup - rebound anxiety. Just what I don't need)! Also pretty bad reflux. It's all normal for coming off this wretched stuff - even though I'm reducing by one tablet, as you know this is higher than the standard dose. It's evil rubbish! If I manage to get off it completely, I'll never take it again!

Tibolone wise, I can still feel the ups and downs of the dose, but maybe not quite so much. Joint pains have gone last 2 days, sleep a bit better. Slight dizziness yesterday could be from dropping the Cetirizine dose.

A dose of up to 5mg can be taken but I'd never start at that x

Is this from a private gynae Annie0710? I've had a look and can't seem to find any info on a 5 mg dose - although some of the trials to test efficacy and safety have been carried out using a range of doses from 1.25 mg up to 5 mg. The prescribing info does not suggest 2 tablets can be taken - but perhaps this is an off licence thing with some gynaes?

Off the top of my head i might have seen it on the patient forums, but can't be 100%, women were being prescribed 5mg in some cases and I'm sure I looked up whether there actually was 5mg pill.  I posted the link somewhere here.  I can't look it all up now as I'm out

Thanks Annie - but I still can't find any actual info on a 5 mg dose even when I Google - apart from this dose being used in studies! Never mind eh! However it might be that some women are prescribed double dose by their gynaes or maybe it used to be available. Something I found said that vaginal bleeding was more likely with 5 mg.

Annie,  I mentioned the 'p' word because  my gp is so anti testosterone in any form even though women produce it  naturally and actually need it.  Anyone would have thought I asked her to prescribe me something illegal.
