The two gunmen are brothers, from an Indigenous community. One of the brothers was found dead two days ago, not self-inflicted. The other brother is still on the lam, maybe injured.  The names of those that died were released today and it looks like from the last names whole families were killed.

Yes, the second brother succumbed to medical distress when he was arrested.  The families will never know the motivation behind the killing of their loved ones.

A suspect aged 69 was quickly detained by police. Prosecutors said he was known to authorities.

Authorities appealed for people to avoid the area in Strasbourg-Saint Denis in the 10th district of Paris.

There is no confirmed motive for the shooting, but reports suggest the suspect is a French national known to police for two counts of attempted killing at a migrant camp in Paris last December, during an attack involving a sword.
