Well.  If DH had attacked a workman as Max Vestappen did after the F1 yesterday, he would have been walked off Site with his P45  :o

Been to London to watch the tennis again but I'll catch up on the GP soon, I don't know what happened with Max but I do know the winner of the race  :)

MotoGP season finished on Sunday  :'(.  Have watched testing from Valencia today.  Bright sunshine there.  It will be a while to remember who is which coloured leathers  ::). Roll on March.

1 more F1 race this weekend.  Hopefully the relaxed tennis games will be on in the Albert Hall soon.

I've been hooked on the NFL this year, from 6pm until I go to bed in Sunday's it's all I watch  ::) I am a big rugby fan anyway so it's not that different apart from the armour  :o  ;D I even got tickets to see a live game in Wembley in October.

F1 and tennis are ending, rugby and NFL are going strong and in January the tour down under and the Australian open tennis will start another season. It's no wonder the year goes soooo quickly I'm always looking forward to the next sporting event. I've already booked to see the Paris Roubaux cycling in April  :)

That's exactly what I said.

He has been so lucky and now it's come to an end.  That's life and there are so many people with real problems to cry about.  ::)

.... and I thought that I was simply a Grumpy Old Woman  ;D.  He should have been planning for retirement for at least 20 years! same with other sports people, they don't look far enough ahead.  At least they don't have to worry about a Pension  ;)

Awww poor Andy, I feel for him. I've enjoyed watching him, and wish he could retire when he wants not because he's in pain. I think it's a shame when any person cannot continue doing something they love because of injury.

People have to give up jobs they love all the time. It's nothing to cry over.

Huge shock in the F1 world today, Charlie Whiting had died, the day before the season starts.
He was a massive part of F1 and his passing is going to be felt by all the teams and drivers  :'(
