I'm still up, well, sitting up in bed,
I've felt sick with a headache nearly all day,
Then tonight just couldn't get warm,
feel really drained.
Hope to sleep well tonight.

Sleep well ladies, night night.

I have been to bed but woke just after 3am went to the toilet then couldn't get back to sleep. So decided to get up and have cup tea so I'm on here and catching up with some telly. Will try going back to bed later.

I've only just had a shower, so can't go to bed yet,
Too hot, and need a drink.
So I'll watch tele for an hour or so then go up.
Haven't stopped all day!
Hope I can sleep.
Night night everyone. Xx

I'm up, although I had been asleep for a couple of hours.   I woke up feeling a little bit colded, a little bit uncomfortable and a lot sad at having had to give up a musical activity that meant a huge amount to me, because of other pressing commitments.    :'(   I was playing for a community choir - great people, super music and now, wonderful concert memories.  I can't quite describe the feeling of exhilaration that I got from playing (piano, not organ) surrounded by their sound.  I just loved doing that. It gave me a sort-of feeling of completeness.  I'm just sad and missing it/them already.  Ju Ju, if you're reading this and you still sing with your choir, do you know what I mean?   I'm sure you will do.  Oh dear, my Dad comes into the equation, I'm afraid, so do my studies (yes), both of which are extra challenging at this time of life while I'm still working too.  I've just drowned my sorrows in a cup of hot, sweet tea.  Made me feel a little better.   :-\
I'm listening to "The Carnival Is Over" (Seekers, 60's) at the moment.  It's just how I'm feeling.   :'(
Now I'd better go back to bed and see if I can get to sleep.....

Sorry to hear this dulciana.
I know how you feel it's very difficult trying to juggle every thing when you are still working.
Hope you are feeling a little better today :foryou:

Morning dulciana hope you slept ok it's no fun when your minds active like that and such a shame you've had to stop doing something that obviously makes you feel valued plus you enjoy, you know the answer to that one Get back out there lol don't let your talents wither, there's always someone who can make good use of them.
Sometimes we have to “make” that time for the things that make life worth getting up in the morning so if I was you I'd have a rethink and maybe commit to less but still commit to something, you can't go through the rest of your life feeling incomplete, you'll work it out I'm sure.good luck xx

Thanks for your thoughts, Daisydot, Lanzalover and CLKD.

CKLD, I hear what you're saying but the answer will have to stay as no.  I'm feeling less stressed already, quite apart from how upset I felt last night.  I have to go along with that.

Sorry to hear you've been feeling iffy and I hope you feel better now.

I'm still up.
After another day of struggling, headache, really tired, eyes half shut,
I'm awake now. I hate this. Feel like I could stay awake all night,
god knows what's going on with me. Lol

So, I'm watching a film, then I'll go to bed, maybe that's the trouble, I'm not in a
proper routine, sometimes in bed early, other times late.  ::)

Hope you all sleep well, night night everyone..sweet dreams.

I don't think it matters if your still up late as long as you get sufficient sleep to function the next day because the body will,at some stage ,catch up.
Now we are older we don't seem to need as much sleep my husband is worse now than when younger,he can go and work 12/14 hour shift after 4 or 5 hours sleep.I can sleep now for 7 or 8 hours and still be yawning in the mornings, before hrt I was lucky if I was sleeping a full two hours I was so drained with it so I'd say don't get stressed out worrying about it I'm sure your body will play catch up then it'll settle down again. Xx

Yeah your so right daisydot.
OH is the same, however, if he does get to relax for 20 mins or so,
he does get tired, but he can manage on less sleep than me,
and as soon as puts his head on the pillow, he goes straight off,
Sometimes, I'm still rattling on to him, and he goes will you shut up, ;D
you've just woke me up! He's gone off that quick.. how I don't know, he just switches off,
I can't do that, my mind is analysing everything.  >:(
It drives me mad..... :(
