Hi Again
Ive been off hrt probably two months now and as Ive mentioned symptoms that it helped slowly coming back, this week getting worst, night sweats well and truly back, flushes in the day, anxiety, feeling sick, headaches, fainty feelings it must be lack of estrogen.
I can try and tackle the anxiety with cbt Im now starting, but I don't know if anything other than hrt can help the other symtoms, please tell me if you know of any.
The thing is I don't really want to take tablet form of hrt, I got on well with estradot patches but it there a progesterone that I can take with it that I can get on with???god knows Ive tried most of them.
Plus my male gp more or less advised me against going back on it due the serious health risks, exhausted with it all yet again xx
Have you tried utrogestan vaginally?
That way, it doesn't have to go through your stomach, liver, etc
I used to take it orally but when my period came it would be really strange, scanty, etc.
I think a lot of women who start taking utro vaginally seem to get on better with it.
I pop my utro pills in on a night, when I am in bed, just before I go to sleep.
I have a packet of wipes handy in the bedroom, just because I am a bit weird like that, even though I keep my vagina clean, and free from fishy odours, I associate it with bad fishy smells and don't want fishy fingers. That's just me though.
Vaginal utro suits me greatly, along with evorel patch.
