Go where I wanted....can I have a time travel machine please.

Cornwall and back to the Menack Theatre.
The Norfolk broads.....hubby and I spent two weeks in a windmill and had the best time.
Paris, where we went on honeymoon

Not very exciting but special to me.

The point is to be able to go without anxiety etc.  ;) [have you read the Minack Chronicles Honeybun?]

I would love to be able to do those places without anxiety. Just getting there would be a huge challenge but hopefully one day.

No I haven't read it CLKD. I will have a look though as that place has a special place in my memories.

Got your holidays sorted out yet ?

Nope.  Days out though …….. as and when .  Derek Tange wrote the 'chronicles'  ;) - I have almost all of them.  'Ambrose', 'A Gull on the Roof' ……..

No it's long since been recycled.  I was told to pack for equivalent of a coolish summer day as trip was a surprise, so had a lightweight cardi & light jacket. Photo of me at top of Eiffel Tower I look frozen! I was!  Found a local market under railway line on way back to hotel.

I have just booked a spring week for me and hubby and the dog. Just a caravan but it's brand new and centrally heated.
Back to the Trossachs, I just love the area and could quite happily live there.

So that's the spring one booked and the summer one......now how about an autumn one.

I do know that my mother will have a fit so I'm not even going to tell her.....hey ho it's about time hubby and I started to put us first.....selfish or what  ::)

NOT selfish! It's what you should be doing. No one deserves a break more than you two and I doubt you have a selfish bone in your body! PN x x

Thanks for asking HB. I did a huge amount of research , got mindboggled and overwhelmed, panicked I might not be doing the right thing and left it :'(
I am feeling a bit more positive now so might take another look. After all that's happened to us I am very nervous about rocking the boat (no pun intended ;D )

I do understand, you both have to be happy with what you choose. If hubby is happier closer to home then there are so many special places in this country.

Do something that you are both comfortable with. You don't want to go away and then worry that hubby will be alright because then it's not a holiday for you.

So difficult when health is involved. I always find out (quietly) where the nearest doctors is and have the number if I need it. Probably not necessary but it makes me feel more in control  ::)

Good luck with your search....let us know.
