There were 10 green bottles, hanging on a wall ...........  :whist: I've got an ear-worm now  >:(  :D

Don't know what DH will serve up later.  He's smoking some fish ......... there's some soup left  :-\

Soup - that was a chicken carcase with mixed veg. poured over boiled rice.  Stuffed now.

Mine is similar!  I am currently cooking a shoulder of lamb, roasties, broccoli, glazed carrots, peas, yorkshires (my lot want them with everything) gravy and mint sauce.  I have a small swede so may cook that too.  At SW people cook what they call Singing Swede. You just put the whole swede in the microwave for about 20 minutes and when it starts to “sing” its done then you scoop it out.

I have a strawberry cheesecake for dessert for everyone except me but Tesco were doing 1 kg trays of beautiful big strawberries for £4 so I will have some of those.  Because they are trays rather than punnets the strawberries are in a single layer and all are perfect.

We had Beef steaks, Yorkshire puds, carrots & broccoli and in oven at mo a Rhubarb crumble for dessert

Cooked the roast we were going to have yesterday
Roast chicken,roast potatoes, stuffing, Yorkshire puddings, carrot and swede mash, cauliflower and broccoli.

Asparagus and Stilton salad with balsamic and honey dressing,OH had breaded chicken with mash,sweetcorn and a creamy sauce
