As anyone heard of putting conkers in the corners of your room to keep the spiders away?

Maybe that's because you didn't put them on the floor. Lol

Don't think there is much that will keep spiders out to be honest.
Just whack them.....or buy a spider catcher that sucks them up and they you can drop them outside.

Why put them anywhere? There's nothing in a conker that a spider won't like
......... and I rarely kill spiders unless it was the one in 1991 which looked foreign

We sort of covered this last Autumn in this thread
http://www.menopausematters.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,20315.0.html
I don't think it works by the way - but, then again, I love spiders apart from when they lurk behind the skirting board and rush out to capture one of my silver fish

Tried it- didn't work. I can't kill them though. Not their fault I'm scared of them I have half a coca cola bottle that I use as my spider catcher and I throw them outside. If they are big I have to hold a piece of card on top as I'm sure they could "get me"

we have a pest repeller here. You plug it into the wall and it lets out an ultra sonic screech which insects hate. Works a treat too
