Cooler; cloudy; muggy; thunder which put the TV off; heavy drizzle followed by heavy rain; blue skies now  ::)

It's been raining here since lunchtime. The garden really needs it so not too unhappy about it (although I think rain is forecast for most of next week!).

We had thunder and monsoon rain early evening yesterday and beautiful rainbow appeared. Last night it was much cooler for sleeping, I even had to put a throw over my summer duvet, but I slept like a log.

Today is partly sunny but I think cool for August ( it is a bank holiday of cause!)

Think the expression is showers - torrential rain one minute dry the next, quite blowy as well.
