Today is Brisbane its been the first rain for over 8 weeks
Its cool 16C which is cold for Qld its very damp inside most houses are made 80% of wood
Its dark and overcast and its BLOODY FAB xxxxxxxxxx

Not used to this and I am now inside with all the windows open. Too hot to sleep last night. I need to build up to this.

Its been a glorious day here hot but with a breeze, have kept all the windows open but curtains drawn and fans going so the house is cool.

It really does feel like being in Greece or Italy. Its not so humid today so much more enjoyable.

I have a cool water humidifier that I use with essential oils. I used it today and put eucalyptus, lavender and a dash of peppermint and geranium  in the water and it seemed to cool the sitting room too.

Hurray for Summer.

It's actually getting warmer here, than it was earlier.  Think that's because the easterly breeze had died down.  I sat outside earlier and had my lunch out there too.  Settled to read my Kindle as well.  Hope it's like this tomorrow.

Must say too hot for me, :sunny: been indoors most of the day with fans on and windows open, I do go washing mad though enjoying the lovely fresh smell when it comes off the line. Problem now is it's too hot for the ironing  ;)

no clouds at all  ;D  But a bit too windy. I have the windows open in the flat and everything is blowing around. Tried to read the paper in the garden and it just blew everywhere.
Still, not complaining, just lapping up the sunshine while it lasts.

More bearable today beautiful sunshine but a nice breeze to cool the air. Great for watchin my son play cricket just needed some strawbs and scones with my cuppa. ;)
Think I will sleep better tonight with that coolness in the air   :yipi:
