Eeek, put on a stone in two months since stopping the cigs! The nurse was lovely and told me not to worry about it too much, being overweight is less detrimental to my health than smoking was but I will have to start making more of an effort I think. I know I've been eating snacks when I would have had a ciggy but everything just tastes so good at the moment it's hard to stop. Been good today, cereal for breakfast and just some fruit at lunchtime and a normal meal tonight - we're going to our local theatre to watch something so there will be no opportunity for snacking.
