Ladies, I'm 53, not on HRT, and not had a period since July, but for the last 3 weeks I've had spotting every day, just a bit after I've had a wee. Is this normal or do you think I need to book a Drs appointment ? 😞

Given your age I would say its your hormones trying to fire up again. Give it another week but if it carries on obviously get it checked out, it might possibly be a polyp which is very common.

You are not considered postmenopausal and menstrual irregularity is a hallmark of perimenopause, so this doesn't require investigation unless it became heavy, persistent or associated with any other symptoms such as pain or offensive discharge, or if there are risk factors for endometrial pathology.

However this type of spotting is often due to vaginal atrophy.

If you don't want systemic treatment then you should at least think about vaginal estrogen.

I would also make sure your cervical screening is up to date.

Thanks for your reply, my breasts have been a bit sore which might be hormonal, I do have a pituitary tumour also which can throw my hormones into chaos 😔

Thanks for your reply, I have been itching and a little sore, but I think that's the continual spotting. I've used some cannestan cream which does help.
It could definitely be atrophy. 😞
