Thank you Deirdre,

No it’s not smelly. I’m a walking anxious mess at the moment.  Just wanted to check that it’s ok. I’m so low after losing my mum
and I’ve just had enough with everything at the moment.

I appreciate you taking the time to answer x
I can't remember, have you been advised to use it instead of vagifem? I thought you were going to use it externally along with the vagifem.

Okay. I've never used it inside. I wonder if it's more effective than a pessary? Maybe it coats the vaginal walls.

That's what we're here for to support each other. Don't know what I'd have done without this forum the last 10 years.

I use it inside sometimes if very dry and the Vagifem hasn't dissolved.

Okay. I wouldn't know whether mine has or hasn't dissolved.

I saw a demonstration on my Instagram feed on how to apply oestrogen cream. She said throw away the applicator, squeeze the cream onto the middle finger reaching to the second knuckle, place inside and all over the outside of the vagina. Seemed a sensible method without the hassle of using an applicator.  I find Vagifem, and Estriol smeared on the outside a great combination for me and definitely my preferred method.

Also if the pessary doesn’t dissolve it would fall out whole I presume, I’ve never had this problem but I know them to be extremely hard in consistency.

Yes it falls out dry and hard still when not dissolved. Thankfully this don't happen often and resolved by adding YES WB.
I use the cream without the applicator exactly as you've described and it works fine.

Oh ok. I've not noticed it dropping out. I do envy women who don't have to do all of this daily ritual.
