DH and I have deep, itchy ears.  Yesterday we visited a chemist and browsed the shelfs for drops to ease it.  The "Cl-ear" ear relief drops - reduces painful inflammation and itching.  When we got the product home in smaller letters: 'do not sue if the ear drum has been damaged [no] or perforated [no], there is an infection [no] or any problems with ears (eczema, itching sensation, dermatitis or any other skin problems) 

Angry beyond words  we don't believe that any product will do any particular harm so will continue with it.  Can't waste £8!

Any1 remember when olive oil was in the medicine cabinet and not the kitchen?

The leaflets are just ridiculous, if we all went by the advice written in them we would never touch any drugs.
I had a ruined holiday once because I was too frightened to take Imodium because of the leaflet, when back home early and the GP explained in a matter of fact way, I felt a right fool to be scared, never again!

When I was training to be a pharmacy dispenser,even if an item was bought “off the shelf” we still had to ask numerous questions before we sold it but nowadays,even if the product is from behind the counter,no questions asked at all,especially in Boots. Some cold and flu remedies especially cannot be used if you are on bp medication but I was handed them without a question being asked 🤷‍♀️

Well if there was no pharmacist, they shouldn’t have sold you anything,not even a toothbrush 🤷‍♀️

They don't understand the fact that they are breaking the Law there because they have a 'green running man' over a locked door
