Starting Blissel
« on: October 23, 2025, 08:06:10 PM »

Hi I am starting Blissel vaginal estrogen. As I am already very sore would it be ok to mix it with a vaginal moisturiser like Hyalofemme or Yes VM. I am anxious that the new gel doesn't cause any extra soreness.

I would stick to the one prescription product without mixing it with commercial products.

The reasons for this are

a) it is already only one tenth of the strength of other vaginal estrogen creams and diluting it further will render it even less effective.

b) if you are sensitive and use more than one product, I'd you do have any adverse reactions it can be harder to identify the culprit

c) if you read the ingredients list on commercial vaginal moisturisers and lubricants, few to none of those things would ever come into contact with our intimate areas naturally. I personally wouldn't put anything down there that I couldn't spell.

Why not experiment with using both, its the only way you will know if it works and if it does then that's a bonus.
I have always used YesVM with Estriol cream twice a day, in fact I would never go a day without using a moisturiser, its a very important part of my regime.
