After some assistance as well as letting it all out!
I’ve had endo and ado for many many years and have had all the fun and games they both bring. Cutting a long story short, after several laparoscopic surgeries, I’ve finally been referred for a total hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy.
To get be ready for this I’ve been on:-
1. Zoladex (stopped after two injections due to chronic pain and migraines)
2. Synarel (stopped after 9 months due to bleeding every 12 days)
I’ve just started Prostap and have already started experienced the following:
1. Migraine after first injection and increasing dizziness
2. Four hours after my second injection I had a dizzy spell, passed out and then knocked myself out as I rebounded of the glass coffee table. Now have a delightful black eye!
One week on and I feel neurotic! I keep having dizzy spells (nothing to do with the head injury - had scans etc and all fine), feel like I’m having a mental breakdown and feel out of control hormonally.
I’m taking Everol 75 and Cyclogest daily for as back. But still feel wired!
Anyone had any similar experiences with these GnRH analogues. They clearly don’t like me!
Trying to work out if I should just stop all HRT to see if this helps with my neurotic feelings or if I need to increase it.
Any thoughts or advice gratefully received!
Certainly not having another Prostap!
Oh and I’m 45
