Go back on HRT?
« on: October 15, 2025, 01:04:46 PM »

I have used HRT and had success with it but came off it a few months ago as I couldn’t seem to get the dosage right and it was making me dizzy. I have chronic migraines which are now under control with diet.
Plus I have other health issues (including chronic fatigue) and needed to reset from all meds.
I am 55, last period when 48. Tried various HRT and had success with Evorel.
Every night I go to bed and getting a nights sleep seems like an extreme sport. I am exhausted. Sweats aren’t too bad.
Thinking of ringing GP to get back on Evorel 25 and Utrogestan. Am I too late? GP is very understanding and usually helpful. I’m desperate.
I cannot tolerate any supplements, so it’s going to be HRT or nothing!

Of course you aren't too late!

With your medical complexity however I would highly recommend investing in an appointment with a specialist - you are much likelier to end up with a therapeutic dose of estrogen and testosterone than just settling for the lowest available dose and no testosterone.
