Adding another patch
« on: October 14, 2025, 06:06:52 PM »

Hi all,

I'm just looking for a bit of advice.
I'm currently on evorel sequi (in my 3rd month) and I think that maybe the estrogen isn't enough.
I know that you can get evorel patches in different strengths from 25 to 100 but you can only get the conti patch in 50's.
So I'm wondering if it would be possible to keep using the evorel sequi and add a 25 patch. Would the norethisterone in the conti patch be enough if I'm on 75 instead of 50?

Unfortunately no, it wouldn't. You can use one and a half patches though, or better still use a 75 oestrogen patch and a separate progestogen.

Thanks JP, that's what I feared. A shame but I guess I'll have to either use 1 and half patch or find a different progestogen to use.
I don't see my GP til next month so I've got time to research and see what's what.
