I had my last period 16 months ago and have been using estradiol 10mcg tablets for almost three months with no issues at all. For the last couple of days, I have had shooting pains through one breast and very slight brown in my discharge. During the night last night, I went to the loo and there was a small amount of clotting when I wiped. I expected to get some spotting when I started estradiol but have been surprised that it has taken almost three months to show up. Has anyone else had any experience of this? I had a hysteroscopy just over two years ago to check everything was okay as I was still having regular periods at that time at age 56 which showed normal womb lining for someone menstruating and a very small fibroid, if that’s relevant.
