Changing HRT
« on: August 20, 2025, 12:33:46 PM »

I am currently on Everol Sequi. I am 55 so GP suggested continuous. I was hoping to wean off. GP has prescribed Everol 50 patch and utrogestan 100mg. Is that a good dose or as I want to wean off should I ask goer a 25mg patch? Thanks.

If you already have them I'd just cut a piece off.

Can I cut the 50 patches in half and still take the progesterone tablet?

Yes. I'm not sure there's much point in weaning off though, you can just go cold turkey if you prefer. If you're going to get oestrogen deficiency symptoms again you'll get them whichever way you do it.
