Those were the days: GPS -1978

😂 Our GPS in 1978

Go past Mike’s house, then turn left where that old red barn used to be.

Go a little ways till you get to that house where that really weird guy with all the old school buses used to live.

Then keep going until you pass the place where that old lady, (the one we called Meg Mucklebones) lives.

Turn a bit to the right on that bumpy road, cross over cooters bridge, then the house you’re looking for is just past the spot where that dog with the three legs used to chase us. 🐕💨

We used to regularly drive to cricket grounds in the county or visit relatives, and going north of Norwich just past Great Witchingham somewhere there used to be this bend in the road and a bricky tower thing on the left, and it ALWAYS used to pong whiff really bad. It was as you’d expect labelled ‘smelly corner.’ It doesn’t smell these days ‘sigh’😂

Ooh yes I used to go to the wildlife park occasionally. I last went there when my daughter was about 3 around 2004 time. I liked all the exotic birds. It’s been closed a good while now. Filby is still open and doing well.
