Hi all,
itchy ears here lol. I'm on top of it by using Palmers cocoa butter and Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream at night. The thing is that my sensitivity to noise is getting worse (55, post meno) I have tried Loop earplugs but they sent the itch into overdrive. Any recommendations? Thanks!

Morning.  Anything into the ear i.e. plugs will increase the risk of infection and dryness.

I would suggest noise cancelling headphones for the day if required.  We use nivea cream for the ears and I. have drops too, rather than putting anything that might dry out the area.

I also have what we call at home 'spaniel ear', when I can't reach the itch deep down!

Many MotoGP riders lick their ear plugs B4 insertion and I often wonder how many problems they develop!   ::)

Many years ago I opened a thread regarding noise  ::).  I can hear a pin drop  >:(

 :welcomemm:   browse round.  Make notes.

I don't have itchy ears so this may not help. I use wax earplugs (OH snores) which are cheap and as they're greasy perhaps won't dry the skin. Not comfortable to sleep on your side though. Or perhaps ACS custom fitted ear plugs, expensive but good reviews.

I use the 3M yellow foam ones from Amazon and they stay in all night, are comfy and block noise really well. I use once then throw away, would highly recommend
