Hi, I am pretty sensitive to all hormonal changes including my own so I have started on only a half pump of oestrogel - within a couple of hours I am hit with crazy fatigue, I feel almost like I am drunk - wobbly and a bit fuzzy. I have tried splitting it into 1/4 pump in the morning and 1/4 pump in the evening but haven't had much improvement. Can anyone give me hope this will improve? I know my body needs to 'get used to it' but it doesn't seem to be that common a symptom when I am looking online for others experiences / reassurance. Any thoughts welcome! Thanks

Remind me: which symptom would you like to ease?

Crushing fatigue is common even with ladies not using HRT.  I remember Mum suddenly switching off the cooking , sitting down and sleeping for hours  :-\ but I had no idea why.

I'm taking it for mood swings and painful joints, I didn't have this fatigue before it comes on like a freight train within a couple of hours of using my gel.

Thank you for responding was feeling quite despondent about it and wondering if it'll pass as my body gets used to it

It isn't unusual for utro to do this but not oestrogen. If it's definitely the gel perhaps ask for a different form of oestrogen, either lenzetto spray or a patch. It might be something in the gel your body doesn't like rather than oestrogen itself.

Certainly as oestrogen levels drop naturally muscles may become lax = aches and pains.  R the mood swings cyclical?
