I want to know I am not alone in this issue. The last three Lenzetto pump sprays have run out ahead of the 56 days detailed on the product. The pumps either have too little product in them, or the pump mechanism is failing to project the liquid. Some days, nothing comes out without pumping the canister 3-5 times, then it’s complete guesswork to know you have the correct dose on your skin.

When the pump is new, you get a perfect 5cm diameter of product on your arm, and this continues until the pump is just about to run out. I have found that the pumps usually last longer than 56 days. The last three Lenzetto pump sprays have run out ahead of the 56 days. Same batch number.

I have used this product for several years now without complaint. I love the method of receiving the oestrogen; it’s much more user-friendly than the gel.

I have approached Gedeon Richter and am awaiting a response.

I am just about to swop over to Lenzetto from Estradot patches on the advice of the Meno consult but at a slightly higher dose than I was on before as it is now realised that the product is not as strong as was first thought then. I have been on it previously 2 years ago and loved the ease of use but also remember that the doses ran out before the end and could be inconsistent but was told that had been remedied so I will follow your post with interest as to what Gedeon Richter respond to you.  I read that there was a shortage of Lenzetto and emailed them myself yesterday as I don't want to swap to yet another product that is going to have supply issues.  They replied this morning saying they had run out briefly but new supplies had come back in and they were re-stocking all their suppliers.  Like you I love the method of receiving oestrogen.  Be really interested in the response you get.  x

Interesting! I've not experienced this yet but oddly my latest prescription that I collected has a 'sticker' on the pump (clearly added by manufacturer). When I opened the box I thought it was odd but didn't think any more about it, but now I've read your post I've just peeled the sticker off to find that underneath it are instructions in Spanish! The sticker contains the same instructions in English.

I wonder if something has changed- hope we're not entering the same debacle as we did with Oestrogel changing!

I'll closely watch the dispensing as I get towards the end of the 56 sprays ( I'm on 3 pumps and day so I only use each pump for 18 days) My current pump should last me until 13th July.

Does your pump look the same as usual?

Suziemc - thats interesting.  I know there has been a shortage so maybe that's why they had to get Spanish ones but hopefully the product will be the same - fingers crossed it doesn't end up like Oestrogel did which which is why I had to stop using it after 20 years as I didn't absorb it at all in the new batches.

Thank you for responding. The product I get doesn't look any different and I collected a new one just today. Nothing in Spanish that I've spotted. I called Gedeon Richter yesterday and they promised to call me back today. And haven't.... They also owe my pharmacist recompense for the previous pump that didn't work and they have not responded to my pharmacist since 22 May.... When I get a response I will let you know.

Hi All, after another phone call to Gedeon Richter and applying a bit of pressure, they called back and after speaking with a lady called Michelle, can update people on the following:

Although the pump starts by dispensing a clear 5cm diameter area of oestrogen, the size of the spray area may vary during the lifespan of the pump, and even when a smaller area of product covers the skin, Michelle said the same amount of product should be being dispensed. IF no product comes out, then there is a problem.

My only thoughts are that when you have to pump the product 4-5 times to get anything out, or very small amounts come out, there is still the issue of knowing how much has been dispensed.

Thanks for sharing the update. Interesting but doesn't exactly help in your situation! I've never taken much notice of the area sprayed, I just look/feel that it's wet and assume it's dispensed the right amount but maybe I'm a bit too trusting!  I'll definitely be keeping an eye in case I experience the same as you.

Good luck with your next pump, hopefully you've just had a couple of rogue ones.

Lollipop123456789 - thanks so much for the update - very interesting.  Have to say I am somewhat nervous having to swop yet again but it will be on a higher dose than last time as my blood levels went down really low when on Lenzetto before.

Interesting topic.

I've recently started on Lenzetto. Two sprays per day so each applicator lasts 28 days. Maybe I am too trusting as I hadn't noticed any lessening of it towards the end. Admittedly I don't look at the area I spray as long as it feels wet and I felt the spray go onto the skin.

I did try to push the first applicator beyond the 56 sprays (28 days) and it was fairly obvious then that it was empty. I'll definitely be keeping an eye on it from now on.

It's been amazing so far for me. Hot flushes stopped from day one! Night sweats took a couple of days then stopped. Amazing.

The moisture on my arm varies. I’m pretty new to this product after switching from the patch.

Yes 56 sprays not 56 days. The OP is perhaps on 1 sprays per day.


Maybe just me but as well as ensuring I position it upright to spray it I also store it upright so the liquid stays in the bottom of the applicator. Especially when it's getting low.
