Does anyone know if there's a recommended time after increasing oestrogen before you have a blood test to check levels? Just got my hands on estradot and it would make sense to check this level rather than the estraderm level which I know is 💩.

This indicates steady state is reached after 13 hours.

Also I would pay attention to how long you have been wearing a particular patch when you test - I have also seen but can't currently find a study showing that delivery on day 3 of a patch was approximately 50% of delivery on day 1.

Thanks, that's really helpful - and surprising. I know some people feel a difference on day 4 but I had thought day 3 was a full dose.

Im wondering if some symptoms take a day or so to manifest after a drop in estradiol. Im curious what ladies taking gel experience ie If dont use the gel on a day, do they get symptoms immediately or would it be the next day

It wouldn't surprise me if it did. My hip pain lessens by evening if I put the patch on in the morning which fits in with the above but I leave the patch on for 4 days so I get a reduced supply rather sudden cut off. Might be worth raising this as a new post as there probably aren't many people looking at this now?
