Hello
I have some questions about getting symptoms one month after a dose increase. I know it's not the oestrogen, I like evorel.

I am on 150mcg evorel patches, 200mg micronised progesterone and 1 sachet of testogel taken daily over a week and 2wice weekly vagifem.

I was on 25mcg evorel and last year, I revisited HRt and the GP increased my oestrogen in steps, they would not test my blood for oestrogen in postmeno, which I found curious. They would not prescribe testosterone as the computer said my results were normal. I saw another doctor who was happy to prescribe testosterone and knew I'd increased oestrogen.
I had a blood test earlier this year and went back to the second Dr, who said I had oestrogen levels of 112, and increased my oestrogen again to 100mcg, which I was pleased about as I'd been on 100mcg in perimenopause, and it was my "sweet spot".
This Dr also said I ccould go up to 125mcg in a month if symptoms persisted after a month, and 150mcg if symptoms persisted after another month.
Bleeding had caused previous GP's to take 25mcg oestrogen off each time it happened, till i got down to 25mcg, but it has not happened for a few years.
I didn't expect to need this much oestrogen but followed what the Dr said. She knew I had bled a few years ago, and reassured me new doses can cause bleeding.
I was going to see this Dr in September but I don't want to feel like 💩 all summer, so I have managed to get in at the end of this month.
I noticed small improvements on each oestrogen increase, and I bled yesterday and today a little.
I heard bleeds can happen on new dose or formulation changes, and I also heard that insufficient oestrogen can cause them too.
Why would i bleed one month after increasing my oestrogen dose though?
Thank you.
